Arsenal will be playing their FA Cup tie against Nottingham Forest on Sunday in a completely white kit as part of a No More Red campaign, with the purpose of calling attention to the increase in knife crime in London. There were 30 teenage fatalities in the British capital confirmed as victims of knife crime in 2021.

The all-white one-off kit won t be made commercially available.

It s certainly a great way for top-level football clubs to make use of their popularity to spread an important message.

CAF Champions League Wrap: Al Ahly, Cotonsport progress

Al Ahly secured their place in the semi-finals of the CAF Champions League with a 4-2 win over Zamalek on Sunday.

The defending champions came from behind against their Egyptian rivals to progress in an exciting encounter at El Gouna Stadium.

Omar Gaber put Zamalek in front after just four minutes, but Waleed Soliman quickly equalised for the hosts with his third goal of the competition.

Striker Ahmed Abdul Zaher then gave Al Ahly the lead before Mohamed Aboutrika and Ahmed Fathy put the game beyond doubt in the second half, Soliman providing the assists for both.

Zamalek who have won the tournament five times in their history did pull one back through substitute Ahmed Hassan, but by that point their elimination from the competition had been all but confirmed.

Faizulin wants Zenit exit

Russian newspaper that Zenit midfielder Viktor Faizulin plans to leave the club at the end of the season.
